Introductory Paragraph

"Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings."- Salvador Dali. This quote means that an intelligent person not having ambition will never take off. They will never get very far without the drive to succeed; Which I agree with. This can be clearly seen in "American Chica" by Marie Arana through the quote "Life is better when we imagine it." These quotes relate because this quote seems to come from someone who thinks of the things they could accomplish but doesn't have the ambition to do so; As if what they could succeed in is all a dream.
